LEON FRYER - Chair
Leon co-founded Swimyourswim, which operates two open-water venues in South Yorkshire. He is the 64th international ice miler and has completed two Solent swims, two-channel relays, & the lengths of both Windermere & Coniston. The SYS team have been helping swimmers achieve their goals for ten years and has overseen the safety at events such as The Swim England National Championships, the Scottish Winter Swimming Championships and the IISA GB Championships, along with 126 successful ice mile attempts. Leon has also helped develop and deliver the open water safety and open water coaching qualifications with the STA, an association he is extremely proud to be associated with.
COLLEEN BLAIR – Vice ChairCOLLEEN BLAIR – Vice Chair
Colleen's primary swimming experience is in marathon swimming, where she has completed many classic swims and some world firsts. Her favourite swims have been SCAR, North Channel, Pentland Firth and the North Minch. She has done some ice swims and completed her ice mile in 2016. Outside of the water, Colleen works in sports development and does some swimming teaching and coaching.
STUART HACKER – Swimmers’ Liaison Officer
Stuart is the proud owner and head coach at The SWIMCUBE in Northamptonshire, an endless pool video analysis facility. He oversees two open water venues and has conducted over 4000 one-on-one coaching sessions, working with national swimmers and professionals. While a competitive swimmer in his younger years, Stuart shifted his focus to marathon swimming and has completed challenging swims, such as the Channel and the Sea of Galilee.
FENWICK RIDLEY –

Fenwick is the owner of H2oTrails. He runs the coldest swim venue in England at Sweethope.
Fenwick is a proud Northumbrian Ice Miler with an incredible cold tolerance. He’s also known as the Ice Viking and has made several TV appearances with celebrities such as Robson Green.
Fenwick has medalled in previous IISA European and World Championships, including a stomp in 2.8°c water temperature over a distance of 3k.
REBECCA CAMPBELL WILSON – Treasurer
Rebecca has a background in Corporate Finance, Treasury, and Risk Management. She now splits her time between sitting on the Cetacean Research & Rescue Unit board and being on call as a Coastguard Rescue Officer.
Rebecca is an Ice-miler and marathon swimmer and her training pool is teh Moray Firth. Her swims include a Double Robben Island swim, Ullswater and an English Channel Relay.
